Special Prosecutor Declated Ken Ofori-Atta Wanted for Criminal Action

**KEN OFORI-ATTA, FORMER MINISTER OF FINANCE AND ECONOMIC PLANNING.**

IN THE QUEST to clamp down corruption related issues amongst government officials, the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) led by Lawyer Kissi Agyebeng has declared former Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta a fugitive needed for criminal conduct.

The OSP revealed that the fugitive is needed for misappropriation of funds on SML, National Cathedral and other cases. The OSP disclosed this at a news Conference on Wednesday December 11, 2025 in Accra.

Infornation indicates that Ken Ofori Atta has fled the country but the OSP has warned that either he returns to Ghana voluntarily or Interpol will be triggered to force him back to Ghana to stand trial.

On Tuesday, the home of Ken Ofori Atta was raised by national security Operatives but the OSP has denied involvement in the raid.
