HON. MAXWELL LUKUTOR, SOUTH TONGU CONSTITUENCY MP, NDC.

THE MEMBER of Parliament for South Tongu, Hon. Maxwell Lukutor, took a significant step towards improving healthcare delivery in the district.

SOUTH TONGU MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY  MANAGEMENT IN A GROUP PICTIRE WITH HON. MAXWELL LUKUTOR, MP.

Although, he is a first time MP, he  engaged with the management of the South Tongu District Health Directorate this afternoon after his earlier familiarisation tour at the Municipal Assembly today.

The meeting, held in a collaborative atmosphere, focused on assessing the current state of healthcare in the district and identifying pressing challenges facing the sector.

Hon. Lukutor and the health management team discussed potential interventions to enhance health services and strengthen infrastructure across health facilities in the area.

Key issues such as access to quality healthcare, shortage of medical personnel, inadequate medical supplies, and the need to look at old facility in the Soga township property were brought to the fore.

The MP, who succeeded Hon. Kkwablan Woyome, emphasized his commitment to working closely with the Directorate to address these challenges and improve health outcomes for the people of South Tongu.

“This engagement is part of my broader vision to ensure that every citizen in the district has access to quality and affordable healthcare,” Hon. Lukutor stated.

He also assured the Directorate of his support in lobbying for government and donor resources to upgrade healthcare services in the area.

The South Tongu District Health Directorate, led by its management team, expressed gratitude for the MP’s proactive approach and willingness to engage. They highlighted ongoing expansion projects and appealed for assistance in areas requiring urgent intervention.

This meeting marks a partnership between the MP’s office and the Health Directorate, promising positive strides in the district’s healthcare sector.

It underscores Hon. Lukutor’s dedication to tackling development challenges in his constituency and prioritizing the health and well-being of his constituents.

Residents of South Tongu are hopeful that this collaboration will yield tangible results and usher in a new era of improved healthcare delivery.
