IN A MOVE aimed at reshaping Ghana’s governance with competent and results-oriented individuals, President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Dr. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, the Member of Parliament for Krowor Constituency, as the Minister designate for Gender and Social Protection.

Dr. Naa Momo Lartey’s appointment has been met with widespread approval, reflecting her stellar track record of public service and unwavering commitment to social development.

A Trailblazer in Public Service

Dr. Lartey’s political journey is a testament to the power of humility and hard work. Her rise began as the Government Appointee and Presiding Member (PM) of the then Ledzokuku-Krowor Municipal Assembly (LekMA), where she impressed many with her dedication and leadership skills.

Her performance earned her the position of General Secretary of the National Association of Local Authorities of Ghana (NALAG), a role she executed with excellence.
