EC Holds Emergency Meeting to Update Website with Dec. 2024 Parliamentary Results

THE JEAN ADUKWEI Mensa-led Electoral Commission (EC) is convening an emergency zoom meeting today with senior staff from across the country.

The meeting aims to finalize the population of the Commission’s website with detailed parliamentary results from the historic December 7, 2024, general elections.

The update comes more than a month after the polls, weeks after the official gazetting of the list of Members of Parliament-elect (MP-elects) and days after the list was formally communicated to the Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Alban S.K. Bagbin. Notably, 275 out of the 276 MP-elects have already been sworn into office as lawmakers in more than 72 hours ago.
