AS PART of his commitment to tackling corruption, President-elect John Dramani Mahama has formed a specialized preparatory team to drive his ambitious anti-corruption agenda ahead of assuming office.
The team will focus on gathering evidence, engaging the public and holding accountable, those involved in corrupt practices.
The team includes prominent figures like Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa as Chairman, former Auditor-General Daniel Domelevo, retired police chief COP Nathaniel Kofi Boakye, legal expert Martin Kpebu, and investigative journalist Raymond Archer.

This initiative aligns with Mahama’s key campaign promise, “Operation Recover All Loots (ORAL),” a comprehensive policy to reclaim all state captured assets, proceeds of corruption and restore accountability.
Spokesperson for Mahama’s Transitional Team, Felix Kwakye Ofosu highlighted the administration’s determination to hit the ground running on this issue once Mahama takes office.

It is highly anticipated that His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama’s administration would tackle corruption and state capture head-on and bring the culprits to book to reduce the canker, if not eradicate it completely.
