THE BRANCH of the opposition National democratic Congress (NDC) at Nhyiaeso in the Ashanti has scared the members of the ruling Elephant – NPP with a scintillating 24-hour Economic Health Walk.

The shocking number of the NDC people that came out, was as a result of the hardwork the constituency executives embarked on, the number of the Ashanti regional party gurus such as Yaw Bempeh, Samuel Sarpong, former KMA Boss and currently Deputy National Vice-Chairman, Sharaf Mahama, son of former President Mahama all took part to offer their support.
Madam Faustina Dery, the NDC Parliamentary Candidate, Nhyiaeso Constituency, appealed to the people of the area to consider all the NDC has done across the region, and try her to see the difference in the constituency.
In addition, the manner in which team Henry Osei-Akoto also stormed the grounds also help to ignite the feeling to join the opposition NDC prior to the walk.

A 1.5-kilometre walk attracted thousands of NDC faithfuls and sympathisers who throng the converging point in their party T – shirts and panephinaliers, made it organic; and left lots of these NPP supporters who panicked, expressed fear.

Mr. Osei-Akoto who gave out a huge number of T – shirts to the people, indicated that the house-to-house, ghetto-to-ghetto and corner-to-corner campaign could really work well in Nhyiaeso Constituency.
He remembered that this kind of campaign strategy was introduced by the late former President Prof. John Evans Fiifi Atta-Mills in Ghana; and this touches base where issues are explained to diffuse certain notion about the NDC in the Ashanti Region.

Mr. Osei-Akoto and his campaign team joined the 24-hour Economy Health Walk to assist and inspire the hardworking Parliamentary Candidate (PC) there, Madam Faustina Dery and the constituency executives.
Madam Fausty is loved by many who came out cheering her up by saying, “oba naa; oba naa”. The hardworking constituency executives were all part of the organic and colourful health walk.

Hon. Osei-Akoto stated that the 24-hour Economy policy the NDC is introducing in 2025 after they snatch power from the inept ruling NPP, is going to be a serious game changer, because it covers almost every facet of the economy, including digitization.
He was quick to add that when implemented properly, it would bring relief to everyone in the country. “This will surely reduce the Nana Akufo-Addo/Bawumia created excruciating hardship for Ghanaians.
The onlookers at the Nhyiaeso Constituency could not help, but to show love and make the usual change signals.
