THE ELECTORAL Commission (EC) led by untrusted chairperson, Madam Jean Adukwei Mensah and her cohort, Dr. Bosman Asare has resolved to carry out the District Assembly Elections slated for December 19, 2023 across the country, without the use of indelible ink on the fingers of voters.

DEPUTY NDC NATIONAL COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER, GODWIN AKO GUNN.

Indelible ink is a liquid toner which officials of the EC use to apply on the fingers of voters who are done with voting in an election to prevent them (voters) from multiple voting for the sake of free, fair and transparency. This is to help continue proper nurturing of Ghana’s young democracy.

President Akufo-Addo told Ghanaians early November that  he would do everything with the powers available to him as the President of Ghana to ensure he hand over power to his Vice,  Dr. Mahamoudu Bawumiah for his (Nana Addo) protection.

The EC Boss, Madam Adukwei Mensah announced going into this year’s District Assembly Elections without the use of this indelible ink as a piloting strategy ahead of 2024 general elections.

THE UNTRUSTED EC BOSS, JEAN ADUKWEI MENSAH.

Meanwhile, the Deputy NDC National Communications Officer, Godwin Ako Gunn has said, about a month ago President Akufo-Addo told the general public that he foresees some people fomenting trouble in the 2024 general elections. He said, the EC Boss, made the same statement in a meeting with some security capos, few days after Nana Akufo-Addo made his statement in the quest to deceive Ghanaiansthe.

Following the attitude of the EC Boss, Mr. Ako Gunn suspects a conspiracy between the EC and the ruling NPP in rather preparing the grounds for troubles. He argued that, the statements from the two personalities cannot be a coincidence because intelligence gathered already revealed that if the EC is not checked, it would be the one to foment troubles in the 2024 general elections.

To cement their ‘diabolic’ elections rigging agenda, he noted, Akufo-Addo and Jean Mensah the EC Boss, quickly went to use public event and meetings to make the same submissions as if they are genuinely making the suspicion.

ELECTIONS INDELIBLE INK.

Mr. Ako Gunn hinted in a statement issued in Accra that, during the District Assembly Elections on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, the officer who will be checking the names of the voters will be the same officer issuing the ballot papers to the voters. He posited that when the officer issues three (3) ballot papers and ticks three (3) names to tally with the three (3) rip of papers, then who will be watching the watchman.

In another event, Madam Adukwei Mensah reported accusing the media of publishing false reportage about EC. All these, Mr. Ako Gunn said, were after she had announced their intention to shut down social media ahead of the 2024 general elections. These moves, he said, are deliberate attempt to gag Ghanaians. “These are machinations the Electoral Commission (EC) and the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) are putting in place ahead of 2024 general election”, he asserted.

With these strategies in mind to enable them break the 8, he said, President Akufo-Addo has packed party communicators at the sensitive positions at Electoral Commission to help Madam Jean Mensah and others to carry out all the planned agenda in elections 2024, in cahoots with the Council of State.

THE MOTHER SERPENT OF CORRUPTION, PRESIDENT AKUFO-ADDO.

The NDC Deputy National Communications Officer further indicated that the ballot issuers will be the same persons issuing the papers for the Assembly Members and the Unit Committee Members elections. To this effect, he quizzed, “is it the case that in the 2024 main elections, one person will be issuing both presidential and parliamentary ballot papers? “Will the issuing officer not give a voter two (2) presidential ballot papers or two (2) parliamentary ballot papers, depending on where his or her interest lies?” …. “If this is what the EC intends to introduce in 2024, it will be a recipe for confusion and disaster”, he anticipated.
