THE PEOPLE of Nima East Electoral Area in the Ayawaso East Municipality, have resolved to retain Madam Rukayatu Eliasu Yussif affectionately called Alfaway as their Hon. Assembly-Woman for the second time.
This reason came on the back of the performance Hon Rukayatu Yussif put up in her first term as the Assemble-Woman for Nima East.
Her performance, meekness, tolerance, respect for all irrespective of one’s age; and above all her leadership style won her the hearts of mostly the youth in the area who resolve to help retain her to continue with the good works.
Despite her busy schedules as a professional dressmaker, Alfaway is most always on-the-go to ensure that her people are happy. She always sees to it that problems amongst her electorates, especially the youth are solved for peace and tranquility to dwell amongst them.
Due to her indiscriminative leadership style, Hon. Rukayatu Yussif, aka Alfaway receives all political cliques who come to sit at her shop to have fun and depart for another day.
As a leader who is on the hearts of her electorates, she has never forgot the fact which states that, “If You Accept The Call To Leadership, You Must Be Willing To Be Misunderstood, Criticized, Opposed, Accused & Even Rejected”, this she sees also as a guide to leadership quality.
The Electorates of the Nima East Electoral Area see Alfaway as development oriented Assemblywoman in diversity.
The Jean Adukwei Mensah led Electoral Commission (EC) has delayed this year’s District Assembly Elections for a number of months and finally settled on December 19, 2023.
Hon. Rukayatu Eliasu Yussif, Assemblywoman for Nima East Electoral Area enjoys the support of her elected Unit Committee Member (UCM) of the area: They include, Cliford Kwesi Apeti, Kamarudeen Abubakar, Adiza Amadu, and Mamaa who has stepped down from this year’s contest due to her busy schedules.
