The staggering Health Walk organised over the weekend by the branch of the opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC in the Okaikwei North sent fears through the spines of the ruling New Patriotic Party, NPP.

During the 4 hours’ walk, people who hear the sounds of the melodious NDC songs came out fighting over party T-shirts as they joined the walk whilst others stood to cheer the participants admits the sign of change which makes the NPP restless.
At some places in Lapaz, Nationaltymes.com picked from some members of the Elephant party, NPP who folded their arms in surprised and speechless for a while, and said with conviction to themselves in Twi that, “charley this 2020 elections could be the easiest for JM and NDC if care not taken”.

They noted everything was against them, as they confest honestly to themselves that John Mahama was far better than President Akuffo-Addo compare the two regimes; and looked at the scary manner John and Jane are being received during their tours.
One of the scared NPP guys noted in anger that the People’s Manifesto has rubbished and made the entire NPP’s machinery very wick, except they are trying to be relevant when they meet with NDC communities at radio or tv stations.
Massively attended health walk through Lapaz, Nii Boi town and some other places of the Okaikwei North, was graced by some regional and national officers of the NDC government in waiting for 2021 with her majority in parliament.
Theresa Lardi Awuni, the NDC Parliamentary Candidate, PC alleged the NPP MP for the area, Fusseini described the youth in the area as lazy guys who are only interested in scamming. She further alleged the MP used his common fund for the development of the Okaikwei North to buy votes from NPP party delegates to retain him to see if he could get second term in parliament.

This she said has affected change the people of Okaikwei North Constituency were expecting of him. Theresa Awuni, aka Obaanaa also threw challeng amongst many things, anybody who could point at meaningful project that the $1 million per constituency brought to the people of that amount was released.
Lardi Awuni, aka Obaanaa promised to rather bring to the youth transformation and massive changes in the area. She also promised the Okaikwei North benefits from artisanship and the apprenticeship President John Dramani Mahama promised in the Manifesto.

She mentioned assisting those who will want to go into vocational training and get allowances whilst they are under training.
Two National Deputy Youth Organisers, Edem Agbane and Ruth took part in the walk, the former Deputy MASLOC Director, Mustapha Abubakar, who lives in the area and the Greater Accra Regional Organiser, Anthony Nukpenu also joined the walk.
Others were the Greater Accra Deputy Regional Youth Organiser, Amos Blessing Amorse, and the Treasurer amongst others took turns to address the crowd after the staggering health walk to drum home NDC’s preparedness to snatch the seat for Obaanaa and maximize votes for JM.
