The branch of the opposition National Democrstic Congress, NDC at Dome-Kwabenya has launched a campaign team to rescue the people of the area from the hardship brought on them by the governing New Patriotic Party, NPP.
According to the self-made NDC PC, Mrs. Elikplim Akurugu the electorates want change after sixteen years of failed NPP leadership in Dome-Kwabenya Constituency.
The campaign team appears to aggravate the plight of the ruling New Patriotic Party, NPP who are suffering from the phobia they have developed after the John and Jane People’s Manifesto launched in Accra.

No major changes brought to ease the suffering and the hardship of the people since the NPP government led by Nana Addo took over from John Dramani Mahama in 2017.
At the launch, Madam Elikplim Akurugu, promised empowering the women and women groups scattered across Dome-Kwabenya constituency.
Under Elikplim Foundation, when the electorates gave me the mandate as MP I will provide support to needy but brilliant pupils with equal distribution of educational materials to all pupils, she promised.
As the next Dome-Kwabenya MP, Elikplim has documented plans to organise a competitive sport events to unearth and groom talents within the area through sports development and promotion initiative.
She further informed the crowd at the Dome park to bring the free technical school and the artisanship or the apprenticeship with pay amongst many other things the People’s Manifesto has for Ghanaians to help ease the hardship on the people.
Elikplim Akurugu, NDC PC who the people of Dome-Kwabenya are calling on her to come and rescue them, promised that if the constituent agreed to make her their next Legislator, she would transform Dome-Kwabenya market into a mini Kejetia market.

This and many other projects she has enumerated to bring to her people at Dome-Kwabenya.
The guests speakers who took turns to address the massively attended event argued that all the completed development projects in Dome-Kwabenya were the handiwork of the NDC government.
They mentioned infrastructure projects like roads, schools, hospitals amongst others in the constituency/municipality. The speakers informed the crowd that the NPP stopped some on-going roads projects and started them recently because they want votes of the people.
Dome-Kwabenya electorates who converged at the Dome park noted most of their wish were captured in the NDC People’s Manifesto, including apprenticeship with pay, Islamic Morgues amongst other things.

To cancel the double track introduced in secondary schools by the Nana Akuffo-Addo led NPP government, the John and Jane ‘People’s Manifesto’ pledged to bring the private secondary schools to curb the situation.
The NDC gurus who graced the campaign team launched were Greater Accra Regional Chairman, Joseph Kobena Ade Coker, Joyce Mugtar Bawah, Greater Accra Regional Organiser, Anthony Nukpenu amongst many others.
