Ghana Nat’l Assoc. of Private Schools Ended Inter-Schools Festival in Accra

Ghana National Association of Private Schools in the Ga West and North Zones have ended their Inter-Schools Fun Games Festival successfully in Accra.

The fun games festival were organised under the theme: “Repositioning Private Schools In The Era of Digita-Age”; and over hundred private schools from the Ga West and North Zones participated in more than two (2) or three (3) games respectively.

The various games the schools took part in were, soccer; volleyball; lime & spoon race; sack race; dancing competition; bouncing castle amongst others.

Some of the schools presented their children to compete in both primary and JHS categories of the various disciplines.

At the primary category, boys; God’s Way Preparatory School won the football game followed by Lizzison Preparatory School. On the part of female football, Royal Priesthood, 1st and Songai Preparatory School came 2nd.

Feka International School won both male and female volleyball game followed by the Lizzison Preparatory School who have their Male and female also grabbed medals for the 2nd place in the volleyball game.

The JHS category, Royal Daisy won the trophy set for the football and Shinning Star bolts with medals.

With the sack race, JHS, out of the over hundred schools, only 2 schools were able to sail through. Digital Plus International School won and Lizzison took the 2nd place.

For boys, primary category, Feka International School grabbed the first prize whilst Jesus Ambassadors Predparatory School was awarded the 2nd prize.

JHS-Boys category, Shinning Star Preparatory School emerged winner for the football followed by Digital Plus International School.

In the JHS-Girls category, Destine Child Prep. School won the ladies football and Digital Plus International School took the second position.

The event was very interesting and entertaining seeing the seriousness of the school children in all the categories of the games. Next year’s event would see more fireworks as each school had pledged to present formidable teams into the competitions.
