The National Democratic Congress (NDC) grassroots in the Ahafo Region of Ghana are urging their colleague delegates at the Constituency levels to elect a Vice-Chairman who has a redeeming qualities.

Ahafo Region are joining other regions across the country to elect new regional executives for the next four (4) years on Saturday, November 19, 2022.

The grassroots needed a leader who has what it takes to support in providing a proper leadership to the entire Ahafo Region going into 2024 general elections to recover the 6/6 seats needed.

According to a group of delegates led by Robert Rex-Anthonio, an NDC loyalist and a grassroot person, some of the aspirants will like to use money to get their positions such as the Vice-Chairmanship and at the end the grassroots will remain in their situations.

In a statement sent to Nationaltymes.com by Rex-Anthonio, he hinted that Ahafo Region wants Mr. Moses Aduh-Apau who has the redeeming qualities to help transform the region for better from its current quagmire.

He added that Mr. Aduh-Apau is a better Vice-Chairman (leader) to give better accountability that could even push other executive members to do same to show the required leadership we wish for. This,he said, has been his hallmarks having held that position with such extraordinary leadership qualities.

He added that, Mr Aduh-Apau has shown a remarkable leadership skills in the last 4 years and has a documented plan to improve upon his leadership qualities when given the nod to continue as the NDC Vice-Chairman of Ahafo Region.

Robert Rex-Anthonio also mentioned a few of Mr. Aduh-Apau’s plans including lobbying to ensure refresher training for the branch and Constituency levels on the offices they are occupying.

This, he said, will help these persons when they make their minds to contest for any position at the constituency or regional levels in future; this is another away of mentoring future leaders to run their offices properly, he posited.

Mr. Moses Aduh-Apau is Number 5 on the ballot sheet.
