SOME people in Sunyani of the Bono Region have expressed disappointment for not meeting expectations of the President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s state of the economy address delivered Sunday night.

THE DISAPPOINTING PRESIDENT AKUFO-ADDO

According to them, cost and prices of commodities and services have skyrocketed causing economic hardships on them. Transportation, fuel, electricity, water and food prices have increased drastically.

They were expecting the president to announce reduction of the costs of such goods and services to ease the overburdened citizens from their hardships but none of that was mentioned by the president.

To this effect, the people therefore appealed to the President Akufo-Addo to as a matter of urgency address the situation because Ghanaians are suffering as a result of the continuous surging of the economic hardships.

The people have been speaking to our Bono Regional Correspondent, Reuben Akwasi Oliver on the subject matter.
