THE NDC Grassroots in the Greater Accra Region have started making choices for the NDC National Vice-Chairmanship position ahead of the upcoming party’s delegates’ conference soon.

Although, the party begins its processes to elect branch, constituency, regional and national executive members, some possible delegates amongst the grassroots in the region are mounting pressure on the one Alhaji Sheriff Abdul-Nasiru, a National Executive Committee (NEC) member, to move to the National Vice-Chairman position.
Alhaji Sheriff Abdul-Nasiru, affectionately called Alhaji Sheriff, is known amongst the party folks for his generosity, affable and supports he gives the NDC and the Zangos across the country.
According to these party folks in an interview with Nationaltymes.com, who are possible delegates in the Greater Region, revealed that the man, Alhaji Sheriff is the best candidate compared to others who will want to vy for the National Vice-Chairmanship position of the party currently.

They anticipated that following the usual support Alhahi Sheriff gives, that alone would give him automatic victory over anyone who would think of contesting him during the upcoming delegates’ conference.
Going into the 2024 general election, with vigilance, the NDC needs strong persons at the national levels who would ensure victory. We’ve seen what the current Vice-Chairpersons have done so far.
Chhecks by Nationaltymes.com discloses that Alhaji Sheriff is under pressure not to turn down invitation by the grassroots of the party to contest for the aforementioned position of the NDC when nominations are opened.
Some of the grassroots who spoke to this portal in Accra vowed to take over Alhaji Sheriff’s campaign when the party gives candidates the chance to pick their nominations.
