The Chairman of the World Human Rights Council for Africa, Nii Ayitey Anumle Oyanka I, has advised the government/the Ministry of Youth and Sports to dissolve the Black Stars of Ghana.

King Nii Ayitey Anumle Oyanka I, Chairman, World Human Rights Council For Africa.

According to Nii Ayitey Oyanka I, in an interview with Nationaltymes.com in Accra, following what is happening currently in the team, he thinks “the dadaba Black Stars of Ghana must be dissolved immediately”.

He also suggested that the Ministry of Youth and Sports must re-direct its focuse on the Colts football to enable Ghana harness more talents as it used to be in those days where the glorious Colts football days bred lots of talents.

King Nii Ayitey Oyanka I, indicated that is high time for the Ministry of Youth and  Sports and GFA set up a proper Development Plan to serve as a road map to transform the country’s national teams that would be fit for purpose, and not the lazy man’s approach of selecting players to play in the national team.

Ghana Black Stars

He was of the view that the leadership of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) is sleeping on the job hence, the on-going current development with the Black Stars team; to this charged that they stop sleeping on the Job and act accordingly.

The former footballer who plied his trade in Sweden in year 2009, and now a traditional leader in Ga State in Ghana, posited that “GFA is still not doing things right, Colts football is completely destroyed and becoming useless, that’s where we build talents and proper footballers”.

Youth And Sports Minister, Mustapha Ussif.

King Oyanka I, further noted that Community football in Ghana from time immemorial has been played on rough and grass-less pitches (sakora park) and produced quality players from those pitches.

He added saying one can boost of talent hubs like Bubuashie, Fadama, Tema, Ashaiman, Mamprobi, Nima/Newtown, Darkuman, Teshie/Nungua and other areas where all had juvenile clubs producing talents on grass-less pitches (sakora park).

King Nii Ayitey Oyanka I, traced two talents from sakora park to captained Ghana’s national team, the Black Stars; Stephen Appiah and Asamoah Gyan, saying the duo had their formative football years on pitches without grass (sakora parks).

He noted with dismay that the current crops of rich kids are forcing their way to form the national team players.

“The  problems in Ghana football predates the birth of Andre Dede Ayew; when we last won the AFCON in Libya in 1982, even Dede’s father, Abedi was still a youngster.  So between 1982 up to date Ghana’s Black Stars haven’t won any trophy. So which players are to take these blames? GFA is to be blamed for Ghana football Woes”, Nii Oyanka I, argued.

He also fired some so-called Ghanaian Prophets for sharing “nonsense” about football that has no business with their work for God.

Angry Nii Ayitey Oyanka I, took on one Prophet who claimed the Black Stars captain, Andre Dede Ayew must apologise to some former senior players of the National team.

Which cup did Sulley, Gyan, KPB etc won for Ghana? King Oyanka I, quizzed. He added that “Dede Ayew at least won Under-20 World Cup in 2009. Dede owes nobody an apology”, Nii stressed.
