National Tymes has gathered that two well built New Patriotic Party, NPP vigilante members who claimed are operatives of the Ghana’s National Security attacked and assaulted an Assembleman in Nima.
The NPP hoodlums who assaulted Razak Ismail, a popular Assemblyman for Nima Hot Coffee Electoral Area in the Ayawaso East Constituency, were identified as Yussif Larry Jones and Hamza CMB.
The attack on Razak, aka Ember unprovocatively last Monday when he was filming Nima-Maamobi storm drain within his Electoral Area.
According to an eye-witness account, the NPP hoodlums who were sent to attacked the Hon. Assemblyman said the reason for assaulting him was that he could use the video to discredit the Nana Akuffo-Addo government.
The eye-witness, added that after the attack, the NPP sent hoodlums collected the Assemblyman’s phone and deleted everything on it. Razak Ember Ismail was given some slaps on the face, pushed and followed him up with booties where he fell.
In an interview with the Hon. Assembleman, Razak Ismail aka Ember said after he struggled with them over his phone, he later realized he could not find his Ghc860.00 that was on him.
To this effect, everyone was afraid to video their inhumane actions on their victim.
He told this portal that he normally film any development in his area including the storm drain in case of any changes.
The eye-witness also disclosed that the NPP hoodlums threatened to kill the Assembleman if he does not stop exposing the NPP Parliamentary Candidate, PC, Peter Kwame Mireku for Ayawaso East Constituency who happens to be their boss.
