His Excellency former President John Dramani Mahama, on his “Thank You Tour of the Volta Region told Torgbui Afede XIV of Asogli State that the NDC party takes inspiration from the Accra Hearts of Of Oak Motto: “Never Say Die, Until The Borns Are Rotten”.

The King of Asogli State, Torgbui Afede XIV, & Bankroller & Board Chairman of Glorious Accra Hearts Of Oak.

“Torgbui, we are always inspired by the motto of Accra Hearts of oak and we will assure you that the NDC will never say die; we will bounce back better and stronger. We will never say die”, he stressed.

His Excellency John Dramani Mahama congratulated Accra Hearts of Oak for their victory over WAC of Morocco last Sunday in the African Cup of nations at the preliminary level.

On his “Thank You Tour” of the Volta, the good people of Ho marvelously defied the rains last Monday to welcome His Excellency former John Dramani Mahama to the Palace of the Asogli state.

He expressed his gratitude to the people of the region for the love and constant support for the NDC party.

He indicated that “in the last elections, though the Oti region was carved out of the Volta Region, you still gave us the highest votes in the general elections. 84% was no joke and I appreciate you and your people”.

Mr. Mahama took advantage of the thank you tour to further thank the chief of the Asogli state, Torgbui Afede XIIV for his exploits in business and the work he was doing in Cameroon and Congo.

He also recounted the work Torgbui Afede did to help his administration solve the Dumsor in his era.
