NPP INTRODUCED “MONEYCRACY” IN GHANA POLITICS AND THEY CONTINUE TO DO IT – Nationaltymes.com

I write this with shock and disappointment at the levels to which bribery activities some of the various NPP Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) were engaged in for them to be confirmed by the various Assembly Members.

President Akufo-Addo, Who An SP Described Him As Mother Sepent of Corruption In Ghana.

I observed with sorrow and sadness how the NPP government is looting public funds, and is neck deep in corruption scandals. Corruption has become a norm in their administration.

It is a known fact that the NPP introduced the “moneycracy” in Ghanaian politics in their bid to snatch power at all cost prior to 2000 elections and this became a glaring pandemic in the rest of the previous elections including all kinds their intra-party confrences/elections, and it continues unabated because they knew without that they can’t win any elections in this country.

Moses Tettey Dometey, Alia Bola Ray Jnr, A Political Youth Activist

If for nothing at all, the 2020 general elections was a glaring example, where COVID-19 funds were used massively for vote-buying including sending of MoMo amongst other means, all in a bid to buy votes.

This was the reason His Excellency the late former President Jerry John Rawlings told the NDC that they cannot fight the NPP in their (NPP) terms, because they are brought up in such a corrupt habit that they (NPP) cannot be changed.

The late former President Rawlings asserted that the NPP is a complete definition of corruption and no amount of fasting and prayers could change them, hence the NDC must be aware not to fight them in their (NPP) own terms in any election.

No wonder huge and massive corruption scandals are being perpetrated by the Nana Akufo-Addo led NPP administration against our beloved country, Ghana since 2017 and this continues shamelessly in broad daylight, even in the on-going MMDCEs confirmations across the country.

Lawyer Kissi Agyabeng, Newly Appointed Special Prosecutor, SP By “Mother Sepent”.

I suggest that the first corruption scandal to be probed and investigated by Mr. Kissi Agyabeng, the Special Prosecutor is the corruption and bribery that went into the confirmation of Nana Akufo-Addo’s nominees for the various MMDCE positions.

It is shameful, disgusting and irritating to see how the then “Opposition Anti-corruption Crusading Political Party (NPP)” is now fully in-charge of worshipping corruption and bribery as if it is their “Gateway” to heaven.

Some Assembly Members took huge amounts of money from some of the MMDCE nominees and pledged to vote for them, but failed to do so on the D-Day.

It is evidential how some of the MMDCEs were bribing Assembly Members with huge amounts of money for them to be confirmed under the watch of the so-called self-acclaimed anti-corruption crusader, President Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo.

This inducement fee was high. MMDCEs reportedly paid between Ghc1,500 and 3000 due to the excruciating poverty and hardship facing the people under the Nana Addo/Bawumia led government.

Before the 2020 election, it was alleged that the NPP was using COVID-19 funds to sponsor election campaigns and vote-buying and that they were misusing funds allocated for the fight against the deadly coronavirus disease. The way the NPP used the funds to buy votes during the campaign period is so crudely obvious for all to see.

Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, New IGP

The corruption scandals under this current government are too many to be counted, so Mr. Kssi Agyabeng should use his office to investigate them.
