Hon. Member of Parliament, MP, for Ablekuma Central Constituency, Dan Abdul-Latif has allegedly taken a new stand against his constituency executives.
Information Nationaltymes.com gathered indicated that the MP has formed a parallel team with some executives he chose to work with and eith this, he ends up dividing the Constituency Executives into two.
Prior to the electioneering campaign in 2019/20 after he was elected Parliament Candidate, PC for the Ablekuma Central Constituency, the whole Executives worked with him day and night until they snatched the seat from the NPP, Ebenezer Nii Narh Nartey.
Our source hinted that when there were internal forces against the MP, Dan Lartif aka Minister, the Constituency Executives united and stood firmly behind him until he sailed to become the MP for the NDC.
In spite of all this, the Hon MP, held a number of planned activities with his “parallel executives he has created” without involving the Constituency Executive.
Nationaltymes.com sited an ambushed letter from the Hon MP, Dan Lartif to the Executive he just informing them of his “Thank You Tour of the Constituency”.
Source close this portal further hinted that the Hon. MP did not discuss the tour with the executives so they could come togather to plan the thank tour just as they did prior to the electioneering campaign before and during 2020 elections.
This behaviour of the NDC MP for Ablekuma Central Constituency did not go down well with the Constituency Executives who are complaining bitterly but remain calm.
This portal also gathered that some regional executives of the NDC are aware of the MP’s unaccepted attitude because the worrying aspect still remains that the area is one of the troublesome constituencies where it is always difficult for the NDC to retain seat since Hon. Tetteh Chai left the seat.
The Executives are lamenting that if their Member of Parliament, Dan Lartif would overlook all the difficulties they all went through to snatch the seat from the NPP, who used lots of money but could not retain the seat, then is a worrying development.
In a related issue, our source further hinted National Tymes that all the resources, both kind and in cash that came to the constituency were given to the PC, Dan ahead of the 2020 elections without the executives taken penny.
The source was quick to acknowledge that Hon. Abdul-Lartif Dan has donated a trifle amount of Ghc 10, 000 to the ten (10) Wards of the Constituency few weeks ago for them to buy plastic chair or run the branches with.
