East Ayawaso MP Received Certificates of 5 Youngsters Trained

The 5 beneficiaries who went through a 3-day leadership skills training have presented their participatory certificates to the Hon. Member of Parliament, MP for Ayawaso East Constituency, Mc Nasser Mahama Toure.

The training is designed for those living in the rural areas and some urban poor communities like Nima within the Ayawaso East Constituency in the Greater Accra Region.

As part of his vision to catch and groom young people in the area to merit opportunities that may come their ways, Mc Nasser managed to arrange and supported these youngsters throughout their 3 days training which earned the young chaps certificates.

Nationaltymes.com gathered that the programme is one of many supports the Hon. Legislator has been offering the people of East Ayawaso Constituency alongside obvious developments since he became MP.

These youngsters were taken through various leadership skills training and some levels of critical thinking based on their age.

One of The Certificates Awarded The Participants

This brought out their unknown interest and the hidding creativity which could help them in their endeavours. According to them, the training also built their public confidence level which made them so courageous in this short time.

Hon. Mc Nasser Mahama Toure, Ayawaso East Constituency MP, who perused their certificate, urged them to make good use of their training.

He charged them to try to serve as role models by putting what they have acquired from the training for their peers or others to  learn or emulate.

Hon. Mc Nasser Mahama Toure in an interview with Nationaltymes.com, was elated that his effort to secure such training for the children yielded some fruition; this encouraged him to add that he would appeal with the programme Coordinators to accept and train more of the chaps he is catching young in his constituent.

He noted using them as peer educators to help transform lots of ups and coming youth of the area, especially Nima.

Reports from the training centre indicated that these young chaps – Mr. Bright Delali Dielo, Ms. Mariam Abubakar, Ms. Haruna Nasariya, Mr. Salmanul Faris Abass Abdullah and Mr. Mohammed Muhyi-Deen were determined, respectful and hardworking.

The MP disvlosed to this portal that the Coordinators accepted these chaps from his constituency on condition and they return with recommendations which have encouraged him (Hon. Mc) to send more of them to be trained so as to change the psychic and the narrative of the youth of the constituency in future.

This he said forms part of his numerous programmes for human development in the area for Ghanaians to see Ayawaso East differently.

Nationaltymes.com also gathered that the programme Coordinator was impressed with the performance of the aforementioned participants from Ayawaso East Constituency.

With what they have acquired, this portal learnt they formed networks with their colleague participants to share ideas and opportunities.
