THE MINISTER for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Hon. Dr. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, has visited traders at the Dansoman Market to empathise with them after a recent fire outbreak destroyed several stalls and claimed the life of an eight-year-old girl.

During her visit, the Minister interacted with affected traders and assured them that government will support them as they rebuild their businesses. She also announced that the Ministry will provide psychosocial support to help the traders deal with the emotional trauma caused by the incident.
Dr. Momo Lartey further stated that her Ministry will work closely with other relevant agencies to ensure the victims receive coordinated relief and assistance.


She later visited the mother of the eight-year-old girl who died in the fire. The Minister expressed her condolences to the family and assured them of the Ministry’s support during this difficult time.
