GHANA’S Permanent Representative to the International Maritime Organization (IMO), H.E. Sabah Zita Benson, Envoy to UK/Ireland, is leading the Ghana Maritime Authority delegation at the 34th IMO Assembly in London, where member states are discussing key policies to enhance global maritime safety, security, and environmental protection.

The Assembly brings together all IMO member states to discuss important global maritime issues, including safety standards, security, environmental protection, and sustainable development in the maritime industry.

Ghana’s participation reflects the country’s strong commitment to improving maritime governance and keeping its waters safe and secure. It also shows Ghana’s readiness to contribute to international discussions that shape the future of global maritime cooperation.

The delegation’s presence reinforces Ghana’s dedication to maintaining an active and respected role within the international maritime community.
