THE MEMBER of Parliament for Salaga South, Hon. Hajia Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah, has donated GHS 20,000 to Salaga T.I. Ahmadiyya Senior High School to support their participation in the 2025 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) in Accra.

The donation was presented on her behalf by the Salaga South Constituency Chairman, Mr. Haruna Abdul Aziz, popularly known as Chairman Abotsi, along with Ing. Abdul Nasser Adam.

Chairman Abotsi explained that the funds will help the school cover logistics and other essential costs as they prepare for the national competition. He said the MP is committed to supporting education and helping students excel.

Ing. Abdul Nasser praised the school for making it to the national stage and noted the MP’s focus on improving science, math, and ICT education. He also announced plans by the MP to introduce regular quiz competitions between the two SHSs in the constituency to boost learning and academic performance.

The school’s headmaster, Mr. Issahaku A. Jahanfo, thanked the MP for her timely support. He revealed that the total cost for the competition was GHS 25,000, and the MP’s donation had covered 80% of the expenses. He described the gesture as a great motivation for the students and staff.
