THE GHANA Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has assured airlines, aviation stakeholders, and the travelling public that all flights within Ghana’s airspace will continue without disruption despite a planned strike by the Ghana Air Traffic Safety Electronics Association (GhATSEA) on Thursday, 30th October 2025.
In a press release, GCAA said it has activated a comprehensive contingency plan to maintain safe, secure, and reliable air traffic services across the Accra Flight Information Region (FIR).
The plan includes backup procedures, dedicated response teams, and coordination measures to keep both domestic and international flights running smoothly during the industrial action.
GCAA urged the public to remain calm and assured all stakeholders of its commitment to high standards in air navigation services. It added that the Authority continues to invest in staff welfare and human resource development.
The GCAA is responsible for managing Ghana’s airspace, licensing airlines, and regulating airport operations across the country.
