HON. HAJIA Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah, Member of Parliament for Salaga-South, has awarded the first support package from the Chief Baba Braimah Education Fund to Mr. Fatawu Inusah, a first-year student at the University for Development Studies (UDS) pursuing a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Information and Communication Technology.

The ceremony at the Constituency Party Office saw Municipal Chief Executive Hon. Kassim Yazid Rabiu present a GHC 2,000 scholarship and a laptop to Mr. Inusah, marking a milestone ahead of the Fund’s official launch later this year.
The MCE praised Hon. Hajia Zuwera for prioritizing education, calling it an investment in Salaga-South’s future. Mr. Fatawu’s father expressed gratitude, saying the support relieved a huge financial burden. Mr. Inusah himself promised to excel academically, dedicating his success to the MP and NDC supporters.
Named after Chief Baba Braimah, a former MP and respected leader, the Fund aims to bridge educational gaps and empower youth globally. It will include scholarships, learning materials, academic competitions, and recognition of outstanding educators and students.

The event drew dignitaries underscoring community backing for this initiative reflecting Hon. Hajia Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah’s visionary leadership in uplifting Salaga-South through education.
