THE AHAFO Regional Minister, Hon. Mrs. Charity Gardiner, on Sunday, joined Bechem United FC during their home match against Baseke Holy Stars, offering strong support to boost team morale and encourage local sports.

She was accompanied by the Municipal Chief Executives of Tano North and South, along with other party and community leaders.

As part of her visit, the Minister donated GH¢10,000 in cash and 30 packs of bottled water to the club, reinforcing her commitment to promoting sports in the region.

Hon. Gardiner described the gesture as part of a broader agenda by the NDC government to “bring back the love” for local football and support youth through sports.

She reaffirmed that under the leadership of President John Dramani Mahama, the Ministry of Youth and Sports will continue to invest in talent development and sports infrastructure across the country.

The donation was warmly received by club officials, players, and fans, who expressed their appreciation for the Minister’s continued support.
