
THE GHANA Free Zones Authority (GFZA) has officially launched activities to mark its 30th anniversary, highlighting three decades of supporting export-led growth, attracting investments, and boosting industrial development in Ghana.

The media launch event, held in Accra, brought together key stakeholders from government agencies, the private sector, and development partners. Notable institutions present included the Ministry of Trade, Agribusiness & Industry, Ghana Export Promotion Authority, Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Regional Integration.
In her remarks, Minister of Trade and Industry, Lawyer Elizabeth Osofo-Agyare, commended GFZA for its vital role in positioning Ghana as a competitive investment destination.

She urged stronger collaboration among stakeholders to enhance job creation, value addition, and global market access for Ghanaian products.
The CEO, GFZA outlined a year-long calendar of events including business forums, stakeholder engagements, investment roadshows, and exhibitions to commemorate the anniversary under the theme “30 Years of Promoting Investment for Inclusive Economic Growth.”

The celebration also aims to showcase the Authority’s achievements, deepen partnerships, and explore new strategies to strengthen Ghana’s free zones and export-driven economy.
