Sheikh I. C. Quaye’s boy and a popular radio presenter within the Zango Communities in the Greater Accra Region, Alhaji Galaxy Abubakar has indicated that he likes President Addo Dankwah Akuffo-Addo’s leadership style but he is unable to endorse his second term bid.
In an interview with Nationaltymes in Accra, Alhaji Galaxy of Amanie 93.3 fm argued that “the fact that I like Nana Akuffo-Addo’s leadership style doesn’t mean I’ve endorsed his second term bid”.
According to him, though Nana Addo improved the pilgrimage to Mecca, introduced a double track free SHS and created Zango Ministry which makes him like his leadership, he was unable to pledged his support for his (Nana Addo’s) candidature for his second term in December 7, 2020 elections.
The Amanie 93.3 fm radio presenter said the opportunity Sheikh I. C. Quaye had as Hajj Board Chairman made him (Alhaji Galaxy) fall in love with the Nana Addo led NPP administration but he would not be able to endorse him.
Alhaji Galaxy told this portal that in his view, former Presidents Jerry John Rawlings, John Agyekum Kuffuor and John Evans Atta-Mills all have done a lot for the Moslims Ghana and that make him to like their leadership style and is exactly what Nana Addo has also done by adding Zongo Ministry to help the Moslims.
