PRESIDENTIAL aspirant of the Private Newspapers and Online News Publishers Association of Ghana (PRINPAG), David Tamakloe, has donated a laser printer to the Association’s Secretariat in Accra.
The donation followed his vetting visit, during which he discovered that the Secretariat’s only printer had broken down—forcing staff to go elsewhere just to print documents.

“I saw the inconvenience and felt compelled to help,” Mr. Tamakloe said. He urged individuals, institutions, and corporate bodies to support PRINPAG’s efforts to promote press freedom and professionalism.
PRINPAG President Edwin Arthur, who received the donation, expressed gratitude and described it as a timely and thoughtful gesture.

He clarified that the donation was not politically motivated and encouraged others to follow suit to help improve journalism standards in Ghana.
