RESIDENTS of the Dalive-Torzikpota Electoral Area in South Tongu District, Volta Region, will on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, converge for a crucial community forum aimef at fostering growth and development through vibrant community engagement.

The event, called the Field Organization Drive towards Growth and Development, is being organized by the Assembly Member, Hon. Peter Narteh. The focus will be on key issues like farming and agribusiness, education, sports, job training (apprenticeship), clean water, sanitation, roads, and electricity.

One of the important parts of the event will be a youth session at 3:00 pm, where young people will get the chance to speak on sports and apprenticeship. This is to help involve the youth in building the future of their community.

The forum will also be a time for residents to review what the Assembly Member has done in the last 16 months and raise concerns if needed.

In a Facebook post, Hon. Narteh shared the key topics to be discussed:

  • Farming and Agribusiness: How to improve agriculture and local businesses.
  • Education and Sports: Ways to improve learning and sports activities.
  • Apprenticeship: Creating more job and skill training opportunities for the youth.
Water and Sanitation: Finding solutions for clean water and good hygiene.
  • Roads and Electricity: Talking about the poor roads and power supply problems.

“This is a chance for everyone to come together, share ideas, and make leaders responsible,” Hon. Narteh said.

He also mentioned some recent work he’s done, like organizing a clean-up at the Dalive CHPS compound, fixing the Wetorkor road, holding local committee meetings, and raising awareness about dengue fever.

All residents are encouraged to attend and help shape a better future for Dalive-Torzikpota.

Date: Wednesday, July 16, 2025
Venue: Dalive-Torzikpota Electoral Area
Time: Afternoon (Youth Forum at 3:00 pm)
