
THE GHANA Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) recently welcomed a delegation from the United States (U.S.), Africa Business Centre and the American Chamber of Commerce, led by Madam Kendra Gaither, to discuss economic ties between Ghana and the U.S.
The meeting focused on exploring investment opportunities and understanding GIPC’s strategic priorities to foster collaboration.


Madam Gaither emphasized the importance of strengthening trade and investment partnerships, highlighting opportunities for U.S. businesses in Ghana’s technology, agriculture, and infrastructure sectors.
GIPC CEO Mr. Simon Madjie outlined the Centre’s commitment to creating a welcoming investment climate, promoting key sectors such as agribusiness, tourism, manufacturing, and energy.
He also highlighted initiatives like the Big Push Agenda, the Gold Board, and the One Million Coders Programme, reaffirming GIPC’s dedication to working closely with U.S. partners to drive investment and support local enterprises.

This engagement underscores Ghana’s strategic efforts to position itself as a premier investment destination in Africa, leveraging its stable political environment, favourable business climate, and active participation in the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
