THE NEWLY approved South Tongu Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Victoria Dzeklo has commenced her maiden working tour of the Municipality with a bold comment to drive development in the municipality.

Hon. Dzeklo inspected the ongoing water expansion project at the Agordomi Water Treatment Plant. The visit aimed at assessing progress and gaining firsthand insight into the municipality’s water challenges at Agordomi on Monday, April 14, 2025.
During the inspection, Hon. Dzeklo received a detailed briefing from Mr. Edan Koren, Manager of LESICO Company, the project’s overseeing firm. She commended the contractor’s efforts and assured residents that their concerns would be addressed promptly.

The MCE pledged to follow up on the project manager’s recommendations with the Ghana Water Company to expedite solutions and ensure a sustainable water supply for the people of South Tongu.
Hon. Dzeklo reiterated her commitment to resolving the municipality’s water challenges and improving the living condition of all constituents. This visit demonstrates her dedication to tackling the municipality’s water issues head-on.

As the immediate past Presiding Member of the South Tongu Municipal Assembly, Hon. Dzeklo has consistently shown her commitment to developmental projects. Previously, she launched the Ghana Enterprise Agency (GEA) project, emphasizing the importance of such initiatives for the district’s growth.
