News Desk Report – Nat’l Tymes
THE NEWLY elected Chairman of the National Chapters Committee (NCC) of Accra Hearts of Oak, Yussif A. Abdullai, has passionately called on all Phobia supporters to unite behind the new leadership to help revive the spirit and strength of the club’s fan base.

Delivering his victory speech after being officially sworn into office, Chairman Abdullai emphasized the weight of responsibility placed on him and his team.
“You’ve entrusted to me and my team a leadership, and we take it seriously. We cannot afford to fail ourselves, and we certainly cannot fail you, the loyal supporters of Accra Hearts of Oak,” he said.
He added that while the new executive team comprises only 12 members, the strength of the Hearts of Oak fraternity lies in the millions of supporters across the country and beyond.

“We can’t do it alone. But with you by our side, we are millions strong. So let’s rise together, because the journey is far from over,” he urged.
One of his key priorities is to restore and reactivate the collapsed chapters nationwide — the very structures that form the backbone of the club’s support base. Reviving these chapters, according to him, will reignite passion and renew hope among fans.

“I am deeply grateful to all PHOBIA supporters. Today reminded me of who we truly are — united, passionate, and full of love for one another. A new era of Phobia supporters has begun,” Chairman Abdullai declared.
What I witnessed today will stay with me forever. The love, unity, and overwhelming support were simply humbling. I have never experienced such genuine passion and solidarity. I’m truly grateful.

Chairman Yussif A. Abdullai secured a resounding victory in Accra, defeating his two contenders — Peter Mahama and John Vanderouye — with an impressive 339 votes out of nearly 360 cast.
In other key positions:
– Kassim Usman Awal was elected General Secretary of the NCC with 306 votes
– Aminu Osman secured 276 votes to become Organizer
– Mfodwo Asante Jones, affectionately known as Kobby Jones, retained the PRO slot with 353 votes
– Matilda Tettey was elected unopposed as Financial Secretary/Controller
Additional executives include:
– Arthur Salu Joe – 1st Vice Chairman
– Nyarko-Forson Andrew – 2nd Vice Chairman
– Ankrah Benjamin Adama – Deputy General Secretary
– Abass Sule and Adomako Kwabi Philip – 1st and 2nd Deputy Organizers.

While we celebrate this victory, our focus must remain on the bigger task ahead — the league title. Let’s not lose sight of the mission. We must go all out and pursue this year’s Premier League trophy with the true spirit of Accra Hearts of Oak — the “Never Say Die” spirit. And with that, victory will surely be ours.
Thank you to each and every one of you for your trust, dedication, and support.

God bless you all.
Long live Accra Hearts of Oak!
Long live PHOBIA!
