A NEW chapter of hope has opened in Jomoro as more than 600 brilliant but needy students from over 111 public and private schools have received full educational support under the Jomoro MP’s Scholarship Initiative.
The scholarship presentation ceremony, held at Bonyere Junction, brought together chiefs, queen mothers, constituency executives, the Western Regional Minister, security agencies, and hundreds of parents and students — all united in their commitment to investing in the future of Jomoro’s children.

This marks the second edition of the initiative, reflecting the MP’s consistent commitment to education, empowerment, and equal opportunity for every child, regardless of background.
Stakeholders at the event described the initiative as a game-changer for many families and a bold step toward building a more educated and empowered community.
Special appreciation was extended to the Paramount Chief and Traditional Council of Jomoro, queen mothers, regional and constituency executives, and all who contributed to the success of the programme.

Hon. Dorcas Toffey, Jomoro MP and Deputy Minister for Transport, expressed heartfelt gratitude to all supporters — and above all, thanked God for making the vision a reality.
