THE ASSEMBLY Member for Sogakofe South Electoral Area, Hon. Williams Kofi Gleku, has launched a weekend community clean-up campaign aimed at improving sanitation, safety, and unity among residents.
The initiative began over the weekend with bush clearing along roadsides and footpaths; areas often seen as potential hiding spots for dangerous creatures. Leading the effort alongside Hon. Gleku was architect Kazzy and a team of volunteers.
Hon. Gleku stated that the clean-up will continue every weekend until the entire electoral area is cleared. He urged residents to get involved, stressing that community participation is key to making the area safer and more beautiful.
“This is not just about cleaning, it’s about building unity and responsibility,” he said. “Together, we can create a cleaner, safer, and stronger community.”
The initiative has already gained praise from locals who see it as a step in the right direction for community development.
