NUNGUA POLYCLINIC (Then LekMA).

THE MINISTER of Gender, Children and Social Protection and MP for Krowor, Hon. Dr. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, joined staff, management, and stakeholders of the Lekma polyclinic to mark its 12th anniversary with a strong call to rename and expand the vital public health facility.

At the celebration, Dr. Naa Momo Lartey praised the dedication of healthcare professionals and emphasized the critical role the facility plays in providing quality healthcare to the people of Krowor, especially the Nungua community.

In a significant announcement, the Minister disclosed the renewed efforts to officially rename the facility from “Lekma Polyclinic” to “Nungua Polyclinic” to reflect its true location and identity. “This renaming is long overdue. The facility sits in the heart of Nungua and serves its people — it’s time the name reflected that reality,” she stated.

Dr. Naa Momo Lartey also recounted her support to the facility, including the construction of a borehole to improve water supply, ongoing work on Phase II of the emergency unit, and her commitment to push for Phase III infrastructure expansion.

She expressed gratitude to all stakeholders for their role in the facility’s growth and pledged continued support to strengthen healthcare delivery in the constituency.

THE MINISTER GIVING OUT PERFORMANCE AWARD.

“Congratulations to the entire staff and management on this milestone. Together, we’ll continue to build a healthier Krowor,” she said.
