
THE FAMILY of the late Joseph Kobina Ade Coker, former Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), paid a solemn visit to the Presidency to formally announce his passing and discuss funeral arrangements.
The delegation was warmly received by Chief of Staff, Hon. Julius Debrah, accompanied by former Finance Minister Hon. Seth Terkper and former Attorney General Ms. Marietta Brew Appiah-Oppong. They extended the government’s condolences and acknowledged Mr. Coker’s dedication and legacy as a stalwart political figure.

Mr. Ade Coker served as the NDC Greater Accra Regional Chairman from 2009 to 2022, during which he played a pivotal role in strengthening the party’s presence in the region. His leadership was marked by a commitment to grassroots mobilization and political activism.

Chief of Staff Debrah praised Mr. Ade Coker’s contributions to Ghana’s political landscape, affirming that his legacy would be long remembered. He assured the family of the government’s commitment to collaborating with them to ensure a dignified farewell for the late Ade Coker.
