FOUR INDIVIDUALS who are staunch members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have been arrested at the Royal N Hotel in Pokuase for allegedly engaging in electoral malpractice.
The suspects were caught by local youth with a stash of cash, thumb-printed ballot papers, BVD machines, a printer, and other election-related materials.

Among the thumb-printed ballots found in their possession were votes marked for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP’s presidential candidate, as well as for Yahaya Kassim (NPP candidate for Amasaman) and Gloria Owusu (NPP candidate for Trobu).

The suspects are currently in police custody at the Pokuase Police Station as investigations continue.
This discovery has raised concerns about possible attempts to manipulate the upcoming elections in favour of the NPP.
NDC supporters, particularly polling agents, have been urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities as the electoral process unfolds.
