The Vice Chancellor of University of Education, Winniba, Rev. Prof. Anthony Afful-Broni has done his unacceptable things again in the school.
The Prof. who was described as Illegal Vice Chancellor of UEW was been caught Illegally promoting Junior staff over their very experienced seniors to head various departments in the school.
According to the Action Movement Youth Volunteers, AMYV, this unwarranted promotion without due processes has the tendency to explode.
The President of AMYV, Moses Tettey Dometey argued that the worrying part was that Prof. Afful-Broni appointed young academias as HoDs to head over experienced Professors and PhDs in the University of Education, Winniba.
AMYV indicated that President Akuffo-Addo who chased out the Ghana’s enviable former Auditor General, A-G, Daniel Yao Domelevo for attaining a retirement age of 60, himself has illegally appointed Prof. Afful-Broni who is more than age 60 to the Vice Chancellor position.
To this, AMYV is calling on President Akuffo-Addo, Parliament, GJA, Civil Society Organisation and all well meaning Ghanaians to intervene in order to prevent unforeseen consequences.

A statement by the President of Action Movement Youth Volunteers, AMYV.
We, of a non-profit Action Movement Youth Volunteers register our disappointment at the manner the current Vice Chancellor of University of Education, Winneba has been handling the affairs of the school.
Rev. Father, Prof. Anthony Afful-Broni is engaging in an act that is detrimental to the welfare of the school and stakeholders including the President who illegally appointed him must investigate and call him to order now before later.
Prof. Afful-Broni was illegally appointed by President Nana Addo against the statutes of the university. Prof. Afful-Broni was appointed to act for a period of three years against the constitutionally four years we all know. He was illegally appointed to mere the beauty UEW had been enjoying for decades. The position was not well advised during his appointment neither was there interview.
Again, it is alleged that, Prof. Obroni is engaging in fake promotions, choosing juniors to be leaders over seniors, abuse of resources.
Prof. Afful-Broni has only promoted people who support his illegalities for the past three years. He has illegally occupied that office. He has ran a divisive administration and does not respect structures of the University.
Rev. Father Anthony has police and land guards at his residence 24/7 and all are been paid and fed by the university.
It is even disheartening to note that, young academias are being appointed as HoDs to head over experienced Professors and PhDs and all these have been happening in the silence of Ghanaians.
How could a Professional who turned sixty (60) years last year November 2020 still remains in office as VC of the University?
The most serious aspects that can hinder growth and development of the university is that, Prof. Broni is a leader who does not talk to most of the staff who have interrogated his illegalities.
We are by this medium calling on the President, Journalists in the country, all well meaning Ghanaians and Civil Societies to get to the bottom of the above concerns raised
