Fellow akatamansonians, in the midst of our struggle I can see light at the end of the tunnel. I can feel the wind of change blowing. I can imagine the storm with tears, Joy and Victory.
Today, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama has injected a renewed sense of hope and inspiration back to the people of Ghana through the People’s Manifesto. I can hear a loud convincing voice saying we are almost there.
I can see the sun shining somewhere beyond the clouds of our internal political divisions. In the midst of our struggle both within and beyond the borders of our great party, there is a beacon of hope that we shall overcome one day.
When the race began I thought there will not be a finishing line. However, John Mahama and the NDC mark the beginning of a hope in the right direction.
Currently, faith has become our friend and the voice of the people can be depended upon.
I call on you all fellow akatamansonians that let us join hands together for we are almost at the finishing line.
Let us rally behind one another and stand together as one family with a common goal. We need unity, vigilance and courage which will eventually give us the strength to be there.
We are at the river bank already. We shall cross without leaving any comrade behind. We will get there, heaven knows how we will get there.
