THE HON. ASSEMBLYMAN for Adjen Kotoku Electoral Area in the Ga West Municipality of the Greater Accra Region, Henry Marbell Nii-Chartey has finally accepted to contest for the position as the NDC Parliamentary Candidate (PC).
Nationaltymes.com gathered that following his contribution and hardwork, the rank and file of the NDC, especially the teeming youth in the Ga West Constituency have been calling on this energetic young Adjen Kotoku Assemblyman to lead them to victory in 2024.
A source close to him, hinted this portal that Hon. Henry Marbell Nii-Chartey has finally decided to contest for the position as the NDC Parliamentary Candidate (PC) in the Amasaman Constituency.
Hon. Marbell is a serious grassroot party man for over 23 years and his contributions to the party was huge. He taught in the constituency for 17years and served as an assembly member at Adjen Kotoku, a suburb of Ga West for 8 years.
All and many other things convinced the teeming youth and party folks in the Constituency to encourage him to contest for the PC position so that he could represent the people of Amasaman Constituency in Parliament.
Following his qualities, the party folks and the youth strongly believe that Hon. Marbell will be more appealing to garner more votes better for the NDC and for him to represent the people of Amasaman.
He has passed the test of credibility, fearlessness but calm, competency, accessibility and visibility amongst others, which every good leader needs to lead people; these qualitie motivated the NDC folks enough in the constituency to encourage him to aspire for the NDC PC position.
Like some of the young NDC MPs in parliament, he gained his political experience during his hey days in the University where he took students’ politics serious. This offered him the opportunity to become the Assembly member in keenly contested elections at Adjein Kotoku Electoral Area for the past 8 years.
Henry Marbell Nii-Chartey who is still serving as the Assemblyman for the people of Adjen Kotoku, is needed by the NDC fraternity in Amasaman Constituency as a unifier to help restore the glory of the party and snatch the parliamentary seat back for the party in the area.
To this effect, the party folks and the youth are calling on their colleagues delegates to rally behind Hon. Marbell and to support his parliamentary candidature for him to bring massive victory in the elections 2024 to the NDC.
