THE GREATER Accra Regional Minister, Hon. Linda Obenewaa Akweley Ocloo, received the Deputy Minister for Food and Agriculture, Hon John Setor Dumelo and his wife during a courtesy call yesterday.
Their discussions focused on enhancing food security, supporting local farmers, and promoting sustainable agriculture in the region. The Deputy Agric. Minister shared key ministry initiatives aimed at improving access to farming inputs, value addition, and market expansion.
Hon. Ocloo assured him of the Regional Coordinating Council’s full support and pledged to work with MMDAs to prioritize agriculture as a key development tool.
She expressed gratitude for the visit and emphasized their shared commitment to making agriculture in Greater Accra a strong contributor to food supply, economic growth, and job creation.
