IN A BID to enhance academic performance, Hon. Maxwell Lukutor, MP for South Tongu, has donated 2,299 mathematical sets to BECE candidates and pledged full scholarships for students who achieve single-digit aggregates.
The donation, made in collaboration with Hon. Victoria Dzeklo, District Chief Executive, and Mr. Kpenu Setsofia, District Coordinating Director, was formally handed over to Mrs. Celestine S. A. Korsi-Agordo, the South Tongu District Director of Education.
This initiative underscores Hon. Lukutor’s commitment to supporting students and fostering a conducive learning environment in the constituency.

In few days ago, he interacted with final-year students at Kpotame District Assembly School, sharing his personal story of overcoming challenges to achieve success. Despite working on the farm and market to support his family before school, he became an MP through faith and determination.
Hon. Lukutor promised a fully funded scholarship to any student who obtains a single-digit aggregate in their final examination, motivating them to strive for excellence. The visit was a powerful reminder that every student has the potential to achieve greatness. Hon. Lukutor’s story and promise of support inspired the students to work hard and believe in themselves.
This gesture is part of a broader trend of MPs supporting students in their constituencies.
